When I was a kid, my parents had a table top German Christmas Pyramid from their European travels and it became part of our annual Christmas decor. They have a pyramidal frame with a carousel fan on top. Candles are lit below and as the air rises, it rotates the fan and spins the pyramid slowly. 

One of the Munich Christmas Markets had a life-size Christmas Pyramid and I felt like I had been shrunk down into toyland to become a part of the decor myself. Magical!
