The Christmas Market in the little town of Gengenbach, Germany. Here I tried my first Eierlikör (German egg liqueur), German Sect (sparkling white wine from the region), ate some amazing bratwurst and Raclette, and drank gluwhein, all to the sound of live alpenhorns playing Christmas tunes. This market is known for their life-sized advent calendar, which is unveiled each evening at the Town Hall ("Rathaus").
