My boyfriend and I went whale watching in Orcas Island this fall and witnessed the most amazing power of nature - a pod of orcas hunting a porpoise. According to our guide it was an extremely rare thing to experience, we were in the right place at the right time. On the boat ride back the entire world was bathed in purple light, and a feeling of serenity and one-ness with nature I can't forget.
